Shantanu Bala is an ASU Computer Science alumn and former researcher for the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI). While at ASU, he worked for the Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC), which fostered his passion for cutting-edge research and intelligent design. After graduating from ASU as a Thiel Fellow in 2014, Shantanu founded Somatic Labs with two of his friends.

Now, the lab is releasing it’s first product: Moment, a wearable device designed to improve the senses and productivity of the wearer. The device is currently available on wearmoment.com, and the first shipment is set to go out in March of next year.
